I am excited about this exceptional breeding of our Angie girl with Journey, the 2016 BDC World Flushing Champion, he’s a very special Labrador retriever that has proven that not only can he mark and compete at a high level in retriever events, he also proved he is second to none in the upland field events too, a Labrador Retriever that can do it all at a National level.
Hudson is an eight month old male out of our Angie x Journey breeding. Hudson can be best described as a working dog. He thrives when he is doing his job. Hudson knows here, heel, sit, place, and kennel. He has been collar conditioned to “here” and has been force fetched. Hudson is crate trained and keeps his space tidy. Hudson is a great marker, retrieving both on land and water. He is a strong swimmer and retrieves out of the kayak. Hudson is steady to shot and delivers to hand. He is capable of simple doubles, has a whistle sit and is beginning handling work. Hudson has been exposed to gunfire and dead birds.
Hudson is a great marker with an incredible nose and is incredibly bright and eager to please. He is bird crazy and will retrieve all day long. He is also incredibly affectionate and loves to hear “good boy”. He loves people, children, other dogs, and the cat. He will make an incredible hunting companion for the avid hunter.
